Google Adwords Frustration?

Frustrated With Google Adwords?

Hi Today I'd like to talk about Google Adwords.

If your familiar with lead generation you probably have heard or even tried Google Adwords. For those who haven't I'll explain.

Google Adwords is a area of Google where you can advertise your website, your product vurtually anything you want. When you go to the Google directory to search for something you may have noticed the small adverts on the right hand side of the page. That is Google Adwords.

The way Adwords works is when anybody clicks on those ads Google will charge you a fee. The fee they charge depends on the amount of competition for that ad space.

The great thing about Google Adwords is that you only pay for your advertising spot when someone thats interested in your ad clicks on it.

That brings me to the next critical information you need to know before you open an account with Google. Although Adwords is a Great way to bring people to your website you do need to know some very important Do's and Dont's.

First thing to understand is that the Google directory is all about relevance. That's what Google is looking for. It's understandable since it is a directory. When your looking for something, you type the words in the box you want to get the right information that you asked for.

So when you place a ad in adwords you need to be as relevant with your keywords as possible both in your ad and where you send them too. Your website page.

If you don't do this Google will either not place your ad or ask you for a very high cost per click of your ad.

Secondly your keywords need to be as tight as possible.
What are keywords? Keywords are words or phrases that you place inside your adwords campaign for each induvidual ad you place.

For example if you have a website that caters for fresh fruit you would not want have the keyword "fruit". Thats not really relevant enough and because it's a how would I say it a open kind of word you'd be better of asking yourself "what kind of fruit do I have on my website". Like oranges would be better.
You could even go further and have the keyword "navel oranges"

You see what I mean. Now your being very relevant and the more relevant your are with Google adwords the better google will treat you and the cheaper your keywords will be.

Keep this in mind next time you place a new ad on Google Adwords.

There is alot more to Google Adwords but if you stay within these 2 rules you will do quit well. If you liked what you read hear you may want to check out some free videos by clicking the link below.
